Robert J. Syron, president and CEO of Peconic Landing, was chosen by the Chiefs of the Department to serve as the proud grand marshal.
Syron said he was honored to be tapped for the title.
“Peconic Landing values the Greenport Fire Department very much and we consider this a great honor,” he said. “These men and woman serve our community 24 hours a day with true dedication, which is a tremendous commitment. They keep our community safe. This is a very proud moment for Peconic Landing. Personally I was very moved to be asked to be the Grand Marshal.”
