Experience Masterpiece: A Successful Living Initiative

Peconic Landing is Long Island’s exclusive Masterpiece® community!

At Peconic Landing, we are always looking for new opportunities and lifestyle choices for members to explore. Our newest effort is embarking on a partnership with Masterpiece, an organization of wellness experts working to change the perceptions and experiences of aging. As you begin to think about retirement and planning for the future, we encourage you to reflect on your own life experiences and look for opportunities to enhance life at any age.

Through the Successful Living initiative, interested members have an opportunity for self-discovery by providing them the chance to reflect on the activities they enjoy and see what passions or interests they might like to explore.

Research on successful aging shows that 70 percent of how we age is dependent on the lifestyle choices we make each day. Masterpiece has identified four components of life that experts say have a direct impact on how we age. These components include the social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual aspects of life. Research shows that by engaging in the four components you will have a more fulfilled life.

Through our partnership with Masterpiece, Peconic Landing can apply successful aging research from the MacArthur Foundation to our community and look for innovative ways to enhance life at Peconic Landing.

Living at Peconic Landing, our members have ample opportunity to live a full and rewarding lifestyle; whether it’s enjoying dinner with neighbors in our fine dining room, challenging their minds in our Lifetime Learning courses, meeting with our personal trainers, or connecting with their inner self while walking the miles of nature trails.

We invite you to take advantage of some of the many events and happenings open to the public at Peconic Landing, and expand your everyday life to welcome new interests and opportunities. It could be enjoying the theater, attending a lecture on environmental sustainability, or taking a tour of our sculpture garden; the choice is yours.
