The Staff Educator is responsible for promoting best practices through staff development and education, ensuring optimal resident outcomes in accordance with State and Federal guidelines in the Health Center.
Job Details:
• 30 hours per week, benefits eligible. $90-100K
• Develop, implement and evaluate the orientation program for new nursing staff in collaboration with the DON, Nurse Supervisor and Charge Nurses to ensure new staff are properly on-boarded.
• Provide clinical support and on-going education to new and existing nurses to identify the individual learning needs of nursing staff.
• Plan and implement courses to ensure ongoing education meets the needs of all nursing staff.
• Schedule and manage CNA, CPR, and other training programs as needed.
• Ensure all training programs are in accordance with organizational, State and Federal policies and procedures.
Salary range: $90-95K annually, depending on experience.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor of Art in Nursing required.
Staff development training experience in LTC/SAR.
SIGMA experience preferred.
