- Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a skilled nursing facility.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents, and maintain a rapport with residents and their families.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations governing programs and activities involving skilled nursing and enriched housing residents
- CNA Certificate
The LPN is responsible for maintaining the nursing station, for resident’s medical-related concerns by assessment and utilizing reasonable prudent judgment in decision-making process, and for problem solving, keeping within the scope of educational limitation.
The Recreation Aide works to foster independence and promote socialization for each member of the Health Center.
Assists the Recreation Director in carrying out group and individual activities, and in reviewing weekly/monthly schedule of appropriate activities.
The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing creative programs for our Heath Center Members.
Must be able to coordinate with other departments, professionals, and family members to provide purposeful programs.
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
Proficient in required long-term care documentation
